With Google+ officially leaving beta testing and opening its use to all consumers this September, it shouldn’t be long before businesses are also able to start benefiting from the features that this social media platform offers. Here are a few reasons you should consider Google+ for your business.

The Potential to reach a wide audience–At the rate Google+ is growing, it will only take four to five months for it to reach 100 million users. There is a good chance your target market is going to join the trend, making it easy to connect with the end consumer.

Google +1–The Google+ social network allows people to +1 a post or website, which is similar to the “Like” feature of Facebook. The more +1s a website or blog post gets, the higher it will be ranked on Google, making it a great SEO tool for businesses.

+Circles–Google+ allows you to organize users into circles, such as acquaintances, co-workers, etc. Businesses can easily use circles to identify demographics and to target information and marketing. Promotions can be advertised to only those users who would find them most appropriate, making marketing strategies more efficient.
