Are your calendars marked? The 50th Anniversary of the Corn Hill Arts Festival is the weekend of July 14th and 15th!
The Corn Hill Arts Festival is turning 50! In celebration of this significant milestone, Archer worked with the Corn Hill Neighbors Association to create a new Festival brand, including a new graphic identity that artfully highlights the iconic Lunsford Circle gazebo and a new message to visitors, “Come for the art. Stay for it all”, which articulates the range of experiences that the event now offers.
The 50th Anniversary means it’s time to go big or go home! To celebrate this community achievement the Festival will honor the some of the most iconic events of 1969, the year the Festival originated. A 1969 Revival Parade will kick off the weekend on Saturday morning at 11am. Visitors to the Festival will experience choreographed music and dances during the parade and be able to interact with the icons throughout the weekend. Celebrating the historic past and vibrant present, while embracing the future is what has allowed the Corn Hill Arts Festival to thrive.
“2018 promises to be very special,” said Archer’s very own, Elaine Lennox, 2018 Corn Hill Arts Festival Sponsorship and Media Chairperson. “Working with the Corn Hill Neighbors Association, all of our amazing sponsors, and talented artists makes one proud to be a part of this historic event.”
We hope to work with the Corn Hill Arts Festival for another fifty years to come, join us in celebrating on July 14th and 15th!
